Admission Process and Insurance Information

You have taken the first step towards recovery and we know its importance, so we streamline the admissions process, eliminating unnecessary stress and needless form-filling. 

Call Us: Our admissions specialist is just a phone call away. When you call, we will collect a detailed medical history, any insurance or eligibility information and set up an appointment for you to meet with a counselor and start the path to recovery. 

Referrals from another facility or doctor: Referrals are accepted from hospitals, physicians, mental health providers, and school counselors. However, referrals are NOT REQUIRED. Your medical records should be submitted or faxed to us in order to better continue your treatment.

Appointment Scheduling

Attending scheduled appointments is crucial to treatment success! When you make an appointment, that time is set aside for you by your treatment team.

If you are running late, give us a call and let us know. Your provider may be able to accommodate you by moving their schedule around. If not, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment.  If you need to cancel a scheduled appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance.

We do provide a courtesy call to remind you of any physician appointments, so make sure we always have your current contact information!

Late arrivals and appointments canceled without appropriate notice will be considered "no shows". After two "no shows", Access Ohio reserves the right to involuntarily discharge you from the agency. In order to be readmitted to the agency, you will need to discuss your commitment to treatment with and receive approval from a member of the Operations team.
