Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test (AUDIT)

 

AUDIT or Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test helps determine whether an individual affected by alcohol addiction. It determines the regularity, intensity and reaction after drinking alcohol. Through this test the level of addiction to alcohol is determined and a patient or their family/friends can choose to seek help from Access Hospital's substance abuse rehabilitation and recovery program


 

 

Drug Abuse Screening Test (DAST-10)

 

DAST - 10 or Drug Abuse Screening Tool, not including Alcohol or Tobacco, tests an individual's potential engagement with drugs and account for the frequency and intensity of the same. Drug abuse includes the use of prescribed or over-the-counter drugs in excess of the directions and any non-medical drugs. The various classes of drugs may include cannabis (marijuana, hashish), solvents (e.g., paint thinner), tranquilizers (e.g., Valium), barbiturates, cocaine, stimulants (e.g., speed), hallucinogens (e.g., LSD) or narcotics (e.g., heroin). This is not to test an individual's addiction to alcohol or tobacco related products.
